Home » Stassi Schroeder Plots Return to the Spotlight With New PR and Branding Firm “Just in Time” for Her Baby’s Arrival
Stassi Schroeder is reportedly in the midst of staging a return to the spotlight.
As she and husband Beau Clark prepare for the upcoming birth of their first child, a baby girl, the former Vanderpump Rules cast member has hired a powerful new PR and branding firm, seemingly in an attempt to secure her future in entertainment.
Page Six is reporting that after being dropped by both her agent and her publicist in June, following accusations of racist behavior against her former castmate, Faith Stowers, Stassi has enlisted the help of Align, who also represents actor Matthew McConaughey, tennis star Naomi Osaka, and actresses Jameela Jamil and Lea Michele.
“Just in time for the baby,” an insider explained.
According to the report, Stassi is hoping the firm will get her name back in the headlines in a more positive light after her messy racism scandal earlier this year, which began after Faith shared how she and Kristen Doute publicly accused her of crimes she didn’t commit because she was Black.
Stassi also reportedly believes the firm can help her rebuild her image ahead of the birth of her daughter, who is due in January.
News of Stassi’s alleged efforts to return to the spotlight comes just months after she confirmed to a fan on Instagram that she was planning to bring her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, back to the airways after it was canceled earlier this year.
In other Pump Rules news, Faith recently confirmed she is working on her own reality show with producer Maria Menounos and her husband, Keven Undergaro. The show, which has yet to be connected to a network, will be based out of a Black-owned business in Los Angeles.
“She wants to use the opportunity to create more black-themed entertainment and help black entrepreneurs — kinda like a Black Lisa Vanderpump,” an insider told the outlet in November. “She’s been having meetings around town trying to make it happen.”
