The Stars of Selling Sunset Have Hit Back at Chrissy Teigen After She Doubted They Were ‘Real’ Real Estate Agents

The stars of Selling Sunset have hit back at Chrissy Teigen after she doubted they were real estate agents.

Just yesterday, the mum-of-two took to social media after watching all three seasons of the new Netflix phenomenon.

And when sharing her thoughts on the reality show, the 34-year-old questioned whether or not the cast are actually real estate agents.

‘I just watched all of Selling Sunset after watching everyone talk about it for so long! I don’t even think anyone on it is as mean or insane as you guys said?’ she started on the social media platform.

‘Maybe I’m just so used to it because I live here? This is pretty normal lol some are actually really nice.’

The model added: ‘Maybe I also know everyone on tv plays up a character. They’re all doing that. You guys are … super mad at people who are in on the joke.’

Rounding up her string of tweets, she then pressed: ‘I will say, I look at LA real estate a lot and have never seen any of these people lol either have our agents, who I have obsessively asked.’

Naturally, this caused the cast to fire back – defending their jobs and titles in the real estate world.

Heather Rae Young replied to Chrissy’s tweet, writing: ‘Hey @chrissyteigen glad you watched the show!! Come by the Oppenheim group office sometime to say hello we can show you some of our new listings!!’

While both Davina Potratz and Maya Vander have since spoken to E! about the star’s claims.

‘Oddly enough, I did sell a house on the same street where she and John Legend purchased a house a couple of months ago,’ Maya confessed.

‘If she ever wants to buy in Miami I’m here to help!’

Davina also weighed in, telling the publication: ‘I know a lot of agents and if you’re not a luxury condo buyer, you may not know me, but I closed and sold deals for $9 million and up.

‘So, certainly I’m not offended by anything that she said.’

In the words of Maya, any publicity is good publicity these days, right?

Selling Sunset is available to stream now on Netflix.
