Selling Sunset star Amanza Smith Says Ex-husband Ralph Brown ‘Doesn’t Want to be Found’ After Going Missing

Selling Sunset star Amanza Smith has said her ex-husband Ralph Brown ‘doesn’t want to be found’ after disappearing last year.

The Netflix star has never explained exactly what happened in her marriage, only saying that the NFL star ‘went off the grid’ when she started filming the show and she hasn’t seen him in person since August 2019.

The former couple, who wed in 2007, share custody of their children Noah, 10, and Braker, 8. Speaking on the podcast Not Skinny But Not Fat, the mum-of-two said she is ‘positive’ her ex is alive.

‘He’s off the grid’, she shared.

‘Whatever’s going on, and I have no idea what it is, he doesn’t want to be found right now.’

Their last communication was an email in September 2019. Despite the strange circumstances, Amanza defended Ralph as a great father to their kids.

She told Refinery29 : ‘In season 2 you don’t really see a lot of it because I wasn’t sure how much to share, because I was still trying to figure out exactly what was going on. Still, I’m trying to figure out what’s going on.’

‘I definitely didn’t want to, in any way, bad mouth him or say anything bad about him because he was an amazing father up until he disappeared,’ she said.

Selling Sunset has shown Amanza moving on from her job as a decorator to become an estate agent at the Oppenheim Group, landing the opportunity to earn more money for Noah and Braker.

While she was glad people got to see her being a mum on the show, she is determined to keep her kids out of the spotlight.

‘I don’t want to involve them in the show a ton,’ she said. ‘But I was glad that people got to see me as a mum, and not just talking about being a mum.’
