RHOP’s Candiace Dillard Faces Being Fired By Bravo After Season Five Drama

Candiace Dillard-Bassett is said to be on the chopping block with Bravo after a drama-filled fifth season of The Real Housewives of Potomac.
Following a physical altercation with Monique Samuels, which was followed by alleged demands for money, Candiace has reportedly gotten on the bad side of her producers after feuding with Ashley Darby and her husband, Michael Darby, and reportedly threatening to fight castmate Karen Huger.
According to a report from Up and Adam! on November 7, the RHOP cast will be down a housewife when the show returns for season six next year.
While Monique was accused of prompting her fight with Candiace to get physical weeks ago on the show, it is reportedly Candiace’s ongoing issues with her castmates that has Bravo considering giving her the boot ahead of production on the new episodes.
As fans have seen, Candiace faced drama with Ashley after she sided with Monique following their fight. Then, at a group event seen in the midseason trailer of RHOP season five, Candiace’s husband, Chris Bassett, is seen going head to head with Michael over her drama with Ashley before seemingly engaging in a physical altercation with him.
In addition to allegedly prompting the fight between Chris and Michael, Candiace is also accused of attempting to fight Karen, which has producers wondering “who the problem is.”
The report went on to mention that Candiace has been accused of sharing homophobic tweets, which other Bravolebrities have been fired for in the past, and it noted that a blogger she told to drop dead recently passed away.
Although there were initial reports claiming Monique would be the one to be fired from RHOP because it was she who first got physical with Candiace, the report said it does not look like that will be the case before noting that fans won’t get an official answer about the returning cast until 2021.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season five airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
