RHONY’s Ramona Singer Was Secretly Married To A Famous Plastic Surgeon Prior To Her Marriage To Ex-Husband Mario
Ramona Singer‘s marriage to her ex-husband Mario Singer wasn’t her first.
According to a new report, the Real Housewives of New York City cast member tied the knot with a famous plastic surgeon, Dr. Howard Sobel, in 1987 before moving on with her second marriage to Mario just five years later.
On November 3, The Sun revealed that Ramona and Dr. Howard obtained a marriage license in 1987 and noted that while there were no divorce records available in regard to the dissolution of their marriage, Ramona ultimately said “I do” with Mario in March 1992.
After they wed, Ramona and Mario, who share 25-year-old daughter Avery Singer, announced their marriage to the New York Times.
“Ramona Eve Mazur, the owner of R. M. Fashions in New York, and Mario Singer, the vice president of Classic Medallics and Frederick Singer & Sons, a manufacturer of religious gifts and jewelry in Long Island City, Queens, were married yesterday,” the announcement read.
Also in the announcement, it was confirmed that the marriage was not the first for Mario.
“The bridegroom’s previous marriage ended in divorce,” the statement confirmed.

As fans well know, Ramona and Mario divorced in 2016 after he was caught cheating with socialite Kasey Dexter, who he dated for years after their split.

As for Dr. Howard, he married his second wife in 2007 before divorcing in 2016 and has since married a third woman. Although Ramona and Dr. Howard have been divorced for decades, they have remained cordial with one another, and Ramona is actually a client of the surgeon’s.
In April 2019, Ramona shared a photo of herself and her “good friend” Dr. Howard Sobel and revealed she was having her brown spots removed.
“It was great having you at the office today [Ramona Singer], excited to see your final results,” he replied in a comment.
She was also seen in his office last December.
“I’m at Dr. Sobel’s office and because I always wear heels and I’m getting a little older, I have some veins popping out of my leg that I don’t like. So I’m here to fix them to look as ageless as possible! And this is the fantastic Dr. Sobel!” she told her fans and followers in an Instagram Story.
“Ramona has a great pair of legs!” he responded.
Dr. Howard was even featured on an April 2019 episode of RHONY in which he was seen giving Tinsley Mortimer Botox injections.
Then, later that year, Sonja Morgan and Dorinda Medley visited his office.
“Thank you [Real Housewives of New York City], [Sonja Morgan] and [Dorinda Medley] for a lovely visit today. They know that Dr. Sobel is the REAL DEAL!” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 11 is in production and expected to air on Bravo sometime next year.
