MTV Cribs is reportedly making a comeback after 12 years and will feature the likes of Caitlyn Jenner and Selling Sunset’s Christine Quinn.
The series will take viewers inside the homes of the rich and famous, where the celebrities will give us a behind-the-scenes tour, showing us their most prized possessions.
According to reports, the show will see a bit of a shakeup this time around, as the series is going international, meaning it will involve celebs from both the UK and US.
The line-up on the international reboot reportedly includes Caitlyn, musician JoJo Siwa, former Glee star Kevin McHale and Stefflon Don.
Other big names understood to take part from the UK include The Vamps’ star Bradley Simpson, RuPaul’s Drag Race’s Alyssa Edwards and reality star Gemma Collins.
Craig Orr, vice president of original content at ViacomCBS told Variety: ‘As we spend more time at home this year, our fascination with where and how others live is growing.
‘MTV Cribs continues to connect our worldwide audiences with their favourite stars as they welcome us into their homes for an exclusive tour. This is pure property porn escapism at its most fabulous.’
The first series of MTV Cribs aired in September 2000 and saw the likes of Mariah Carey and the Kardashians giving tours of their lavish homes.
The series ran for 13 seasons and by 2005 Cribs had featured tours of the homes of over 185 celebrities including musicians, actors, and athletes over the course of 13 seasons.
The show ended in 2008 and went on to make brief reboots in 2010, 2011 and a 2017 stint on MTV’s Snapchat channel.
And while the US broadcaster hasn’t seen a full series in 12 years, British fans were treated to a UK version of MTV Cribs UK in 2019.
MTV Cribs will relaunch on the network’s international channels on October 26 at 8PM BST
