Home » Chrishell Stause Provides Proof She is a ‘Real’ Real Estate Agent Following Rumors Selling Sunset is Fake
Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause has silenced once and for all the mounting rumours that she is a fake real estate agent.
Fans of the hit Netflix reality show – like Chrissy Teigen – have dissected every inch of the Oppenheim Group real estate agents from their designer wardrobes to how many luxury houses they’ve sold in the Hollywood Hills and beyond.
However, speculation has particularly mounted about whether Chrishell, Christine Quinn, Mary Fitzgerald and co. are even legitimate real estate agents – or just very good actresses.
Chrishell finally addressed the rumours in her latest Instagram stories and linked back to a post from 2016, where she announced her new career as – yes, you guessed it – a real estate agent. Advertisement Advertisement Advertisement
Hitting back at the fake claims, she told her followers: ‘People keep trying to hate on the show, which means it’s a huge success! Lol! This post is still on my IG proving I have been licensed and working before being approached about #SellingSunset.
‘Working all day showing clients properties in the heat & writing up my new listing to hit the market tomorrow! Busy! Thanks for watching though.’
Referring to her other career as an actress in US soaps such as Days Of Our Lives, Chrishell added: ‘I am so grateful to have been able to do acting AND real estate.’
In the 2016 Instagram post, Chrishell shared a photo of a poster including her real estate license number.
The poster read: ‘I am excited to announce I have joined forces with John Aaroe Group, the preeminent real estate firm in select affluent markets throughout Southern California!
‘With our combined commitment to uphold the very highest standards of integrity and personal service, I am proud to represent both the Aaroe Group and YOU for wherever your real estate needs take you.’
She added in the caption: ‘Wanna know what I do when I’m not stirring up trouble in tv land?
‘Let me know in the comments if you’re in the market to buy or sell and need a super dedicated friendly realtor to help you OR refer you to someone in your area! @HGTV Here I come!’
Chrishell joined the Oppenheim Group in 2018 and some of her successful sales have featured in Selling Sunset, including her mission to sell in the tricky area of the Valley.
Jason Oppenheim recently addressed the rumours that the show is scripted and told Metro.co.uk in June: ‘There’s nothing that’s scripted, we’re never told to say anything.
‘At most, I would say that in some situations, if some things need to be addressed or we’re meeting a client or something, we’ll be asked to wait to make sure if we get everything on camera, but that’s certainly not scripted.’
He added: ‘It’s funny because people ask me how can there be this much drama? But it’s months and months of our lives compacted into eight hours. You do look back on it and you’re like, damn, that is a lot of drama. But unfortunately, it’s all real.’
